AUBURN — The former KOA campground, at exit 126 south of Auburn, is under new ownership.
Innovative Management of Hamilton, owned by Jonathon and Olivia Kline, purchased the bankrupt property in September and has renovated the grounds.
It has been renamed Fireside Resort and is open year-round with 55 campsites, complete with water, electric, sewer hookups and WiFi. The main lodge has new showers and restrooms, in addition to a laundry facility, outdoor pool and a playground.
Fireside Resort expects to serve 200,000 guests in 2012, according to a news release.
