FOREST – A Clinton County man was seriously hurt in an ATV accident Saturday afternoon.
Conservation officers say 42-year-old Roger Suhre of Forest was driving the vehicle in a field in Clinton County with his nine-year-old daughter on the back when he hit a sinkhole. Investigators say it appears Suhre did not see the hole and drove into it. He was found in the sinkhole, pinned under the ATV.
The girl ran for help after her father failed to respond to her. She was later taken to the hospital where she was treated for a broken clavicle.
