Bald Eagle found dead at Shades State Park

Indiana Conservation Officers say a man reported that he found a dead bald eagle at Shades State Park on Sunday morning.

Currently, the DNR is investigating the death of the bird, which was found by a man mushroom hunting along sugar creek.

The eagle was located in the extremely remote western portion of Shades State Park just inside Parke County, reports stated.

Initial observations of the bald eagle did not indicate any foul play, according to officials.
